In this project, members learn to select and care for a caged house bird.
What members can do: (All levels)
- Visit pet stores to learn about the cost and availability of birds and supplies
- Talk to bird owners
- Acquire a cage and supplies needed to house a bird
- With the help of a parent or leader, select and purchase your bird
- Provide daily care for your pet
