In the sheep project, members learn about the selection, production, management, marketing and health of sheep and wool.

What members can do: (Beginner level)
- Identify major breeds of sheep
- Identify major parts of the lamb and the lamb carcass
- Care for and exhibit sheep
- Present speeches and illustrated presentations on sheep
What members can do: (Intermediate level)
- Select and develop a ewe lamb
- Maintain and use production and financial records
- Become familiar with carcass evaluation
- Develop a good flock health program
- Use specific rations for different stages of production
What members can do: (Advanced level)
- Establish and mange a breeding flock
- Feed, manage and market pens of slaughter lambs
- Use performance and financial data in management decisions
- Serve as a teen leader and teach younger members
- Explore career opportunities in the sheep industry
