Oklahoma 4-H members, volunteers and supporters will now be able to show their love for 4-H while driving down the street. The newly introduced specialty car tags are now available, and individuals can personalize their license plate. |
|
The license plate costs $35. A portion of the fee will be apportioned to the Oklahoma State University Cooperative Extension Service license plate revolving fund, earmarked for Oklahoma 4-H. To receive a 4-H license plate, individuals must complete an application form and send it to the Oklahoma Tax Commission, Taxpayer Assistance Division, Special Plate Section at 2501 Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City, OK 73194-0201. "The benefits are three fold. The license plates provide 4-H with great visibility opportunities. In addition, this is a great way to show your pride and support of 4-H, and the money goes to 4-H youth development programs," Sorrell said. For more information on the 4-H license plate, contact the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation at (405) 744-5394. |
