Attention Shooting Sports Coordinators, Instructors, Coaches,Parents, Members
The Spring Skeet and Trap Shoots are being planned and by simply picking the link that you want to know more about you can download details.
We are also going to do away with the Big Notebook of Hunter Identification Numbers at the events. We are now asking that you annually (or more often if needed), submit a list of the youth and instructors who are involved in your shooting sports program. On the Annual Member Certification Form you will list all of your shooters, even if they do not come to a contest. This will help us all do a better job of knowing who is actually participating in the program.
When you make your entries for the Trap or Skeet Shoots you will use the 4-H Shooting Sports Contest Entry and Member Certification. This form can be faxed to the State 4-H Office for either of this Fall Contests by the entry date. Our fax number is (405) 744-6522.
You need to make sure to have a Medical Release and Code of Conduct form for each of your members and have them with you whenever you are shooting for practice, attending a contest, or simply traveling to a 4-H event. You can have your members complete one of these forms at the beginning of a series of practices and keep it on hand for the season, or complete one before each road trip. Make sure you keep activity insurance in place for the entire year for your members, not just when you come to a contest.
