Every Dime Counts!
2007-08 State Goal – Every member donate $3.60
In year six of this project, the state goal is to complete our goal of raising enough money to build a house for a low-income family through Habitat for Humanity (HFH).
We can accomplish our goal with a simple plan. If half of the youth in our traditional club enrollment will support this effort by saving 36 dimes or $3.60 we can complete the initial goal of $54,000! This would be a wonderful accomplishment and a substantial gift as we begin our 4-H Centennial Celebration in 2008.
Timeline
The timeline for collecting money is October 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.
Funds due to county office by July 1st.
All county funds are due to the state office by July 7th.
We encourage the support of local habitat affiliates. If you want the money to go toward local habitat project please note that on the commitment form.
Clubs, individuals or counties interested in participating in the 4-H Dime Drop project need to complete and return the attached "Make your Commitment" form. Please help us achieve our goal by returning your commitment forms today!
