Award Information
The awards available for any OAE4-HA member with youth responsibility are as follows:
Oklahoma Awards – the following five (5) awards are presented by OAE4-HA only. There is no corresponding award at the regional or national level.
- Clover Award – Less than three years of service
- Outstanding County –Report an innovative program for a traditional or nontraditional, special 4-H youth, or volunteer adult audience.
- News Media Clover Award – This award is to recognize a member of the media or news organization that has provided outstanding visibility of the 4-H program to the general public. Categories include Newspaper and Broadcast. Additional information is listed on application.
- Promotion & Visibility Award – To recognize members for significant accomplishments in presenting 4-H to the general public, utilizing the 4-H Month Promotional Kit or other 4-H promotional materials such as “Power of Youth” or “Are you into it?”
- Outstanding Program Assistant Award – To recognize an outstanding 4-H program assistant for accomplishment achieved in the area of 4-H.
- OAE4HA Scholarship Application – OAE4HA Scholarship Application.
- Joe Hughes Fellowship Application – Joe Hughes Fellowship Application.
NAE4-HA Awards
General guidelines: For each award application submitted to the OAE4-HA Awards and Recognition Committee, the applicant must attach the completed NAE4-HA Member Recognition Form to the award application. See the NAE4-HA website for specific award guidelines and application requirements. These same guidelines are used for selection of state level awards. Each state is allowed to submit a limited number of award recipients for further competition or recognition at the regional and/or national level.

- Achievement in Service Award

The following items must be submitted electronically to the OAE4-HA Awards Committee. Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
- A completed NAE4-HA Member Recognition Application.
- A brief summary of program accomplishments of not more than 50 words to be printed in the program book.
- The appropriate completed Oklahoma Service Award Application.
