The Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom StaffOklahoma Ag in the Classroom is a cooperative program of Oklahoma State University, Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service, the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Forestry and the Oklahoma State Department of Education. The program is administered through the team efforts of staff in these three agencies. Educational materials are developed in the 4-H Youth Development office at OSU. Most marketing efforts originate in the Marketing Development Division of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture. These efforts include the annual Ag Day Poster, Bulletin Board and Essay Contests and the Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom School Year Calendar. Teacher training is coordinated by OAITC staff housed in the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry and the Oklahoma State Department of Education. Some program distribution and teacher training takes place at the county level through Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service 4-H Youth Development educators.
